A Combined Cooling and Heating System for an Inkjet Printer

A method for mixing and homogenezing temperature of a number of fluids received from a number of fluids sources by causing turbulence in a fluid mixing zone of volume allows shortening the pipes, and printer size, and reduces heat waste.

Ink residuals and substrate debris collection

An ink residiuals and substrate debris particles transportation path including one or more intentionally introduced curvatures is described. The air ink resiuals and substrate debris mixture move inside the transportation path at a speed sufficient to form at the curvatures centrifugal forces acting to seperate the ink residiuals and substrate debris particles from the air stream.

Ink Consumption Accuracy Improvements

There are several ways to measure ink consumption in industrial printing machine. In Geffen (FB 10000) machine was chosen to measure the ink consumption by Load cell that connected to main ink container. The request was to measure ink consumption per printed job. The accuracy of chosen load cell was extremely high. Problem with high accuracy that every small additional force can disturb the measuring process. The ink-tube routing and valves...
